Even over the summer months, we have somehow managed a couple meetings, so I’d thought I post an update. Here is a quick run down of what has happened:
- Briggs Animal (Junior 206 variety) has arrived
- A few pieces of carbon fiber tubing has arrived
- A loose set of dimensions have been laid out for the new car
- The failure of last year’s hub has been analysed with a few options pitched
- Design goals have been loosely set for the upcoming year
- Much discussion of the new chassis & body regarding weight, repairability, cost, and aerodynamics
Also, as the new car is using a new, different engine and carbon fiber, we will need a lot of sponsorship (both knowledge and monetary). We promote our sponsors whenever and wherever possible, and your time and/or money would be going to a good cause.
Hopefully, we will have more pictures up shortly. Video coverage from last year’s event will be edited and also up soon.
Thanks,
Parker

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE SUCCESS OF THE GHS RACING TEAM. WE HAVE THE CITY GARAGE CAR MUSEUM, 210 SOUTH MAIN STREET. THE MUSEUM HAS A ROTATING EXHIBIT SHOWROOM. WOULD YOUR TEAM LIKE TO DISPLAY THE RACE CAR IN THE SHOWROOM FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME?
WE COULD ALSO HAVE A RECEPTION FOR YOUR TEAM AND FAMILIES;
MAYBE A FUND RAISER FOR YOUR COMPETITION TEAM; AND THE CAR WOULD GET EXPOSURE FROM THE VISITORS AND CAR CLUB EVENTS THAT WE HAVE AT THE MUSEUM. ALL OUR DISPLAY CARS ARE IN ROPED, PROTECTED AREAS.
PLEASE ADVISE IF YOUR TEAM, TEACHERS, AND CAR SPONSORS ARE INTERESTED AND WE CAN ARRANGE AN APPOINTMENT TIME FOR YOU TO COME TO THE MUSEUM.
THANK YOU.
